E. Edward Zinke is a senior advisor for Adventist Review. He is cofounder and past president of the Adventist Theological Society, and has served as associate director of the Biblical Research Institute of the General Conference. He helped to organize both the first International Bible Conference in Montemorelos, Mexico in 1996 and the first Jerusalem Bible Conference in June 1998. Zinke earned his BA in theology from Loma Linda University, an MDiv and MA in Old Testament from Andrews University. He has written a number of other articles and books.
