The Biblical Christ: 7 Truths for Reading Scripture and Recognizing Jesus

Who is this Jesus? It’s the question the disciples whispered to one another when Jesus calmed the storm, and it’s a question Christians are still asking today.

In The Biblical Christ, Brandon Smith and Ched Spellman invite you to see Christ in all of Scripture, offering a clear and compelling guide to understanding how the Bible bears witness to who Jesus is. Organized around seven theses rooted in historic Christian confession, the book draws on wisdom from the early church to connect faithful Christian theology with practical, everyday Bible reading.

Whether you’re new to Christological interpretation or looking to strengthen how you read and teach the Bible, this book offers a robust yet approachable guide to seeing and confessing Christ in all of Scripture.
