Gary W. Reece is also the author of Stepcare Recovery Guide and The Hero’s Journey. He earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the graduate school of clinical psychology at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena in 1978. He taught at Azusa Pacific University, and has practiced for over 20 years as a therapist with individuals, hospitals, schools, and civic agencies in the area of emergency response.
