. . . a serious, clearly written [publication] that uses biblical scholarship to illuminate but not refute the principal beliefs of evangelical Protestantism. . . . [It] is to Bible studies what Scientific American is to science or Psychology Today to psychology. A thoughtful bridge between the work of scholars and laypersons looking for a deeper understanding of the biblical texts.

I'm confused by the results when I request anything other than a one year subscription. A request for a six month subscription produces a cost of "$0.00/mo," while a two year subscription request results in a "$33.98/yr" charge, and a three year subscription request produces a "$44.98/yr" cost. Am I correct to believe that those charges are for the entire period of the requested period, not a per year charge?

I read magazines as best I can, but due to poor eyesight, online is where I am better able to read and/or listen to whatever "print" I wish to. I think there might be an increasing number of other people (such as Boomers and above) who would also appreciate this option. For this reason I considered only a 3 star rating.

Love this magazine! What a wonderful value. Received my first issue last week and was amazed at the in-depth articles on the Book of Daniel. Our Sunday School class is studying the Book of Daniel, and the articles were very helpful in giving a fuller understanding of the Scriptures and in presenting the lessons.

Disappointing. I expected serious Bible teaching like in "Israel My Glory" magazine or BibSac theological journal. Too much self advertizing. Seems to promote women pastors, higher criticism (anti-inspiration), the emergent church (anti-doctrine), church growth movement (men-pleasers) and covenant theology (anti-dispensational). The article on David & Goliath causes doubt in the Bible. For solid Bible teaching, the "Believer's Bible Commentary" by William MacDonald is a much better use of your money.

Just got a complementary? copy (March/April 2017). Most is very good. However, Michael S. Heiser wrote in the "Distinctive Elements" that: "John's crucifixion account concludes with the soldiers breaking Jesus' legs and piercing his side (with no mention of supernatural events)."  In your own Faithlife Study Bible app, John 19:33 reads, "But when they came to Jesus, after they saw he was already dead, they did not break his legs"  Later, in your version, vs. 36 "For these things happened in order that the scripture would be fulfilled: 'Not a bone of his will be broken.'"  This fulfillment of prophecy is Biblical scholarship 101. Not a very good first impression.

Please let me know which Logos edition I am currently paying for and send instructions as to how I may access the features, especially for sermon prep and Bible studies. The training may be wonderful, but if time does not permit, one is unable to avail oneself of the opportunities. I've received a few complementary editions and I like the magazine. In fact I'd love to order it but there's no digital option. I can't believe with as many requests for digital that Faithlife is not considering digital as an option. Very disappointing considering they are a digital media company. Come on Faithlife...praise for print but this is the 21st century. Why not make it available in print and digital? - I give the print edition 4 stars but for the lack of digital availability it only gets 1 star.

Love the magazine. Great articles and the 8-weeks in a Bible book study is always informational. I would love to see it available in digital version so I could take it with me on my tablet.

Probably a great resources. However, living in New Zealand means that it costs twice as much in shipping as the subscription. It would be great to see a digital version so that international customers could read it as well.

Looks like mag could be useful, but why isn't it electronic, and tied into the Logos product like a Journal? Seems a natural fit. Last thing I need is another paper magazine that I can't access without manual paper based old school methods.

I would only subscribe to the digital version, keeping all that paper in a box is a waste of trees. I've been converting other magazine subscriptions to digital now, where I can keep as many old issues as I want without the clutter. I don't want to give a low rating because, the paper magazine is an excellent source.

Bible Study Magazine is simple to read and great for introduction to Biblical Study and Research. The seasoned Theology student may find it a bit shallow but the devotionals are enjoyable. It does lack a digital version which is standard for most periodical publications in the 21st Century.
