Hugh Norman Ross (born July 24, 1945) is a Canadian-born astrophysicist and creationist Christian apologist. He has a PhD in astronomy and astrophysics from the University of Toronto and his B.Sc. degree in physics from the University of British Columbia. He is senior scholar, founder, and former president of Reasons to Believe (since 1986), an organization dedicated to demonstrating the compatibility of science and the Christian faith. His books include Weathering Climate Change, Improbable Planet and Designed to the Core.
