I bought this for the ACCS, but it comes with so many other valuable resources, including four of the five Met. Hilarion Alfeyev books on the Orthodox Church from SVS Press. (Why the fifth is not included, I can’t say.) I was surprised that it includes the NRSVue since, as I understand it, some of the Orthodox churches lean away from the NRSV because of the more gender-neutral language relative to other, more conservative modern translations. But with the wealth of included biblical, patristic and liturgical resources, it’s quite an impressive and useful set — and given that I owned many of the component pieces, with dynamic pricing, it was quite reasonable.
I'm an LCMS pastor. I have been looking for a good bundle of resources from the early church fathers, and this did not disappoint!
If you are looking for a good place to start for using the early church in preaching and Bible studies, I would highly recommend this package.
