Thomas M. Lindsay (1843–1914) was educated at the University of Edinburgh before becoming professor of Divinity, Church History, and Christian Ethics at Free Church College, Glasgow. Lindsay later went on to become the covener of foreign missions for the Free Church of Scotland. His mission work included parts of Europe, Asia Minor, and Lebanon.

    Although this is meant to be an introduction to the Book of Acts, it only covers the first twelve chapters in its commentary.
