Overview

The Andrews Bible Commentary is written by 60 leading biblical scholars from around the world. It is designed for new believers, experienced Bible students, pastors, and teachers. Its purpose is to trace the blessed hope (Titus 2:13) in the pages of Scripture and to read all of the Bible in the light of that hope. What does the Bible say to believers who, with both longing and joy, anticipate the return of Jesus? Answering that question is at the heart of the Andrews Bible Commentary, which seeks to instruct and inspire all into a stronger personal relationship with God that focuses our worship on Jesus as Savior and Lord.

  • Features articles discussing key topics.
  • Establishes valuable context for the study of each Bible book.
  • Reveals hidden gems of inspiration as well as deep theological insights.

Would you please provide a credible reply of when the New Testament volume will be available as part of the digital library? I am more than just a little concerned about the lack of candidness. Please advise.

I've just seen that Logos offers "The Andrews Bible Commentary" also as single volumes and the second volume (New Testament) is already "under production": https://www.logos.com/product/247555/andrews-bible-commentary?queryId=513cddcf941925f35b3b62b1741f2c0c Logos, you make it so complicated and not fair to us. You collect interest for the both volumes separately and also for them together. Which is a bit weird, because the interest splits. The second volume will be available soon, but those of us who ordered the both volumes together probably will get it/them in 2 years, because the interest to the Old Testament is smaller. I pre-ordered the both volumes at low price a while ago and don't want to cancel this. Logos, would you consider we to get the New Testament when is published under this pre-order and the Old Testament later? I think it is completely fine our credit cards to be charged when we get the New Testament although we will receive the Old Testament much later. Or charge half the sum. Thanks

Glenda, I certainly understand you and I am disappointed, too. The point though is that we don’t pay upon preorder and with one simple click one can cancel the preorder. You simply were not informed. It is what it is, but we need this published, so instead of being disappointed everyone that is even slightly interested should preorder to reach the goal and not cancel until this go to production. From the start of the production to the publication takes about additional 6 months. A canceling at this time is possible and does not influence the publication. Please everyone that is even slightly interested preorder and don’t cancel. Tell the members of your churches.

When I put in my pre-order, almost a year ago, it was with the understanding that the release date would be 2/2024. I have not heard anything since then about a delay or waiting for interest! I would not have put in my interest if I had realized that this was just a waiting game by logos to see if there was enough interest! I expected more honesty and transparency by LOGOS - which must be a biblically knowledgeable company.
