The Feasting on the Word commentaries are so helpful, I pre-ordered this sight unseen. If I had previewed it, I would not have bought this. Each week is an age-inappropriate paraphrase of the Lectionary. Maybe it would be OK for Sunday School for older children, but that is about the only suitable use. It has no creativity, nothing to capture a child's interest for a long story, nothing that would save me any time. Preview before buying to see if it would work for you, but it's no help for me!
