This is my only commentary set right now, with a few special sets, this is my go-to set for any verse-by-verse set. I bought this expecting an easy read, thinking this would be more for non-educated and I got very meaty commentaries. I am shocked at how deep this goes. I am reading the Roman one today, and it's very good. For an old commentary set, that isn't advertised as a pastoral commentary set, it's good. I thought I would buy this to have one, and buy a more theological set for seminary but now I am debating if that is needed anymore.
