Overview

This is a truly remarkable little gem adopting a brisk, word-by-word style of comment, and sparkling with fresh and challenging information. Some commentaries make the inspired writer say the same thing over and over again. They do not spot the distinctive pieces of counsel in each verse, or the deeper points. This book keeps the advice flowing brilliantly. Dr Adams places all the words of the text in bold as they appear in his comment, so that someone using the book as a commentary may spot them easily. Stimulating for message-preparers; good for group study and a perfect accompaniment for daily Bible study by readers of all ages.
