This study is an examination of how Jesus taught and why story is such an effective method of teaching. Josh Hunt explains that Jesus wasn’t always meek and mild, and that those who wish to teach like Jesus should raise their voices from time to time. However, Hunt also explains that Jesus’ teaching was not always clear, and he often taught in apparent contradiction. Jesus’ teaching was shocking to his original audience. Implications of this are important to modern teachers and preachers. This book is born out of a study of the life of Christ taken from the gospels in the original Greek. Hunt includes background information from respected commentaries as well as recent neuroscience on how humans learn. According to the author, this book has one simple goal: teach like Jesus.
