“Grace is when we get what we don’t deserve. Mercy is when we don’t get what we do deserve. Mercy manifests when we don’t get justice for our sin. Grace is an imparter of power.’ A good example of this would be the woman caught in adultery in the very act. The religious leaders brought Him to her and said, ‘Moses said she should be stoned. What do You say, Jesus?’ And Jesus simply said, ‘Let the man who has no sin throw the first stone.’ From the eldest to the youngest they start walking away, and all who was left was Jesus. He didn’t have any sin, He could’ve thrown that stone, but He didn’t. Mercy said, ‘Woman, I don’t condemn you.’ But then grace spoke and said, ‘Go and sin no more.’ Mercy: She didn’t get what she deserved. Grace: She was empowered.” (source)

John Bevere (born June 2, 1959) is an Evangelist, Bible Teacher and best selling author originating from Colorado. Although he moves in the same circles as some Word of Faith teachers, claims are that his message is very different. His ministry, Messenger International, has confirmed that he is not a part of the movement. He is a man who writes on a variety of Christian and biblical-based topics and tours both nationally and internationally speaking on those topics.
