“To have a correct view of the other world, and of ‘Hell,” (Page 278)

“The moment the Children of Israel put the blood of the Passover Lamb on the doorposts of” (Page 219)

“What caused the earth to become a ‘Waste’ after its original creation is not clearly revealed. It is clear from the account of the Fall of Adam and Eve that sin existed before man was created. The inference is that Satan and his angels were in charge of the Pre-Adamite Earth, that they rebelled, and by rebellion brought destruction on the Pre-Adamite Earth and its inhabitants, and for their sin were excluded from Heaven, and now occupy the ‘Heavenlies,’ and that they are the ‘Principalities and Powers’ over which Satan rules and of whom we are warned in Eph. 6:12.” (Page 11)

“In the Epistle to the Hebrews many Christians stumble at the words ‘fall away’ (Heb. 6:4–6), and ‘if we sin wilfully,’ Heb. 10:26. But these words do not apply to Christians. They were spoken to apostate Jewish professors of Christianity who had never been born again, and who, if they did not accept Jesus as their Messiah, practically crucified Him again, and were as bad as their brethren who did crucify Him.” (Pages 3–5)

“We must also distinguish between the ‘Times’ and ‘Seasons.’ Between the ‘TIMES PAST’ when He spoke by the Prophets, and these ‘LAST DAYS’ in which He has spoken to us by His Son. Heb. 1:1–2.” (Page 5)

Clarence Larkin (1850–1924) was pastor of Kennett Square in Pennslyvania before authoring numerous titles including: Rightly Dividing the World, The Spirit World, and Dispensational Truth.

Heb 6:4-6 are Christians, not mere Hebrews. A gap creationist view ... which does NOT rightly divide Genesis 1. :) To be fair, Spurgeon, Scofield, and others were sucked into this error as well. OTOH, Jonathan Edwards avoided creation issues. But I love so many of Larkin's charts.
