From the Preface: This booklet is written to supply a certain need. There are many busy people who do not have the time to read a large and thorough work on Christian doctrine, but who would welcome a brief treatment of Bible fundamentals.
Each fundamental Bible doctrine is treated in the briefest manner, the quotations being limited to that portion of the text which bears directly on the point under consideration; but in no instance is violence done to the context. Sometimes only the reference is given.
We believe that God is calling mankind back to his Word, and this universal call makes intelligent Bible study the need of the hour. We hope this booklet will contribute something toward a better understanding of God’s will as revealed in his divine Word.—R. L. Berry
