About the Author

Hubert Inman Hester was Head of the Department of Religion at William Jewell College, 1926-1961, and the Vice President at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1961-1965. He is the author of The Heart of Hebrew History: A Study of the Old Testament in Hebrew History (3 volumes) and Southern Baptists and Their History.
