About the Author
Gary V. Smith is Professor of Christian Studies at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where he teaches Hebrew and Old Testament. He has authored two commentaries on the Minor Prophets, an introduction to the prophetic books, and numerous articles. He has also worked as a translator on four Bible translation teams.
