About the Author
R. Laird Harris is widely known and respected for his biblical scholarhsip. A professor of Old Testament and a dean at Covenant Theological Seminary from 1964-1972, he continued to teach until his retirement in 1981 and was chairman of the translation committee that produced the New international Version Bible. He has retired to Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
