Logos Bible Software supports local Bellingham Technical College students with an annual $1,000 scholarship
Bellingham, WA—April 20, 2011—Bellingham Technical College (BTC) Foundation is pleased to announce that Logos Bible Software has created an annual $1,000 scholarship to help a deserving student make the most of his or her academic opportunities and better prepare them for a successful career.
This scholarship is merit based and will be awarded later this summer to a student in the Computer Networking Program or Computer Software Support Program.
“We appreciate the work BTC does in our community and are excited to support their students with this scholarship,” said Bob Pritchett, CEO of Logos Bible Software.
BTC’s Foundation is accepting scholarship applications through June 21st and will notify the recipient in late July or early August. A list of past scholarships and a link to the application are available at www.btcfound.org.
The BTC Foundation has disbursed over $200,000 in scholarship support to 145 Bellingham Technical College students in the current academic year. The BTC Foundation expects to further increase their financial aid to deserving students next year. Among other things, recipients are selected on the basis of financial need as well as academic excellence.
