“According to scientific creationism, the evidence indicates: 1) the physical universe, life, and the original kinds of life were created during a past creation period by a creator; 2) the originally created kinds have been very stable, although there is wide variation within each basic kind; 3) the law of entropy (death and decay) generally applies to the solar system and living organisms; 4) catastrophism dominated and shaped the geologic column, and this includes at least one worldwide flood.” (source)
“Genesis is like a foundation for all of scripture. Ultimately, all Christian doctrine has its basis in Genesis: marriage, sin, judgment, death, the 7-day week, the atonement, clothing, morality, rules, Satan, evangelism, and even the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ all have their roots and origins in Genesis.” (source)
“True science is: 1) observable; 2) demonstrable; and 3) repeatable.” (source)
“Biblical creationism refers to the belief based upon the Bible; it adheres to the literal biblical account of creation in Genesis and the universal flood of Noah. It says the ‘curse’ caused the general tendency toward sin and deterioration. This also includes the view that the earth and universe are relatively young.” (source)
