News and Blogs Sections on Logos Bible Software Home Page Do Not Refresh
The News and Blogs sections on the Logos Bible Software Home Page are not refreshing properly to show up-to-date information, even with an active Internet connection.
First make sure you can access the Internet from your web browser. Once a connection has been confirmed, disable any firewall software that may be preventing the information from refreshing. Once these steps have been taken, restart Libronix and check the home page again. If News and Blogs are still not up-to-date, follow the instructions below to change the Proxy Server setting if it is enabled without a valid proxy server specified in Internet Options. To change this setting, follow the steps below:
- Click on Start | Control Panel and double-click on Internet Options.
- Click on the Connections tab.
- Click on the LAN settings button.
- Deselect the box next to "Use a proxy server for your LAN ..." and click OK.
If these steps do not allow the home page to refresh, a workaround may be to click on Customize View in the upper right corner of the home page under the date, then click on Save Changes.
