Error 1935 During Libronix Installation


 Libronix installation is halted by the following error:

Error 1935: An error occurred during the installation of assembly component.

Solution 1:

Make sure all your Windows Updates are current. This is especially important for Windows Vista users. If Windows Update causes errors, resolving those errors and installing updates may resolve Error 1935.

Solution 2:

  1. Click on Start | Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs. (In Vista click on Start | Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program.)
  2. Under Currently installed programs (Vista: Uninstall or change a program), if any of the following malware programs are listed, highlight each and click on Remove (Vista: Uninstall):  Wintools, Wintools Easy Installer (WinEasy), WebSearch Toolbar, HuntBarIBIS Toolbar, System Mechanic, and HP Component Manager.
  3. Reboot your computer and reattempt the Libronix installation.

If this solution does not apply to your system, or does not resolve the error, follow the steps under Solution 3.

Solution 3:

  1. Click on the following link to install the Microsoft XML 4.0 Parser:  MSXML4SP2.msi.
  2. Run Windows Update to download and install the latest security updates for MSXML 4.0 SP2.
  3. Reattempt the Libronix installation.
