About St. Tikhon’s Monastery

St. Tikhon’s Monastery was the first Orthodox monastery in America, established in 1905 in Waymart, Pennsylvania. In 1938 St. Tikhon’s Seminary was established, and the seminary press has since become a leading publisher of Orthodox literature.
