The better you learn how to use Logos Bible Software, the more you’ll get out of your Bible study. Logos is designed to provide insight into the Bible. Every tool has that ultimate goal.
If you want to learn how to use Logos—because you want to study the Bible—you’ve got to check out the new Logos Pro page. There are tons of brief, helpful videos which, instead of overwhelming you with detail, will show you how to do one thing each. And you’ll get a theological or exegetical tidbit from each one, too.
And don’t let the word “tons” overwhelm you. Don’t think tons as in tons of coal or tons of iron ore but as in tons of candy. Smarties. Or chocolate. Or whatever you like. Every video neatly unwraps one piece of this candy, and you get to eat it at the end if you sit still.

How to get the most out of your free Logos Pro training
Here’s my tip: go to the same houses all the other kids went to. They’re at the top of the page under “Most Viewed”:
Just watch the videos other people learning Logos were most interested in:
- The Psalms Explorer is a beautiful and useful tool for getting your mind around the big picture of the psalms.
- The Factbook is a deeply integral part of what makes Logos helpful in getting you the information you need for Bible study.
- The Ancient Literature tool gives you links to resources relevant to your passage that you may not have thought of.
- And, of course, commentaries are one of the biggest reasons people get Logos in the first place (myself included).
