Overview

All of us have to deal with Goliaths in our lives--giants like loneliness, addiction, jealousy, bitterness, lust, and fear. Believers need to know what to do when they encounter situations so much bigger than they are. Greg Laurie shows us how to prepare our hearts for battle, how to develop the characteristics of a giant-killer, and how to rely on our great God and loyal friends for the courage to stand, fight, and overcome those giants in our lives. This Gospel was written so that we might believe and then grow in our faith. The word used in John 20:31 for “believing” speaks of a continual action. So John was saying that the more we believe, the more life we will experience. Join pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie in his first Bible commentary on a journey to the first century as he explores selected passages from John 1-5. As you follow the early days of Jesus’ earthly ministry and listen in on His conversations with seeking, hurting, and lonely people, you can find hope and encouragement as you discover God’s great love for humanity and for you.
