About Charles John Vaughan

C.J. Vaughan (1816–1897) was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge before becoming Vicar of St. Martin’s, Leicester. Vaughan later went on to become the headmaster of Harrow School in London from 1844–1859, and the minister at Cambridge from 1861–1887. He is the author of many works includingLectures on the Revelation of St. John, The Church of the First Days, Characteristics of Christs Teaching, and St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans.
