Canon Comparison Tool

The original Greek word for “canon” referred to a measuring rod—something that remained unaltered and could be used as a standard. In the early Church, the term “canon” came to be used as a reference to the list of inspired books that make up the holy Scriptures. Interestingly, different Christian traditions disagree about the order and number of the canon of Scripture, and what books should and should not be included.

In this video, you will learn how to use Logos’ Canon Comparison tool to compare various canonical lists from different traditions and identify the books that were widely accepted—and those that were disputed.
