What’s New in Logos? July 2024

Release Notes July 2024

Here at Logos, we’re always looking to improve—from little bug fixes to big improvements and new features, too. Over the last few weeks, our team built, refined, and shipped these updates with care. We hope you enjoy them and that they empower your in-depth study of the Word!

Some updates are available to everyone, and others are just for those who have early access to a Logos subscription (Premium, Pro, or Max tiers available). See if you’re eligible for early access and sign up for launch updates.

Updates at a glance:

  1. Help Center: Easily find the answers you need within the app.
  2. Insights on mobile: Get key information from your Bible at a glance.
  3. Commentaries section in Factbook: Streamline your commentary study.

And more!

1. Help Center in your app

Always know where to go when there’s something you don’t know. Get the support you need quickly without needing to navigate outside the app. We’ll take you to the right spot!

Powered by the same technology as Smart Search, the new Help Center pulls together support articles, video training, and more. Whatever you want to accomplish, you’ll have the help you need with this fresh and easy Help Center search.

The feature above is available in Logos Premium and up, and is available on all platforms.

2. Insights comes to mobile

Use the Insights panel to easily discover historical and cultural context, background information from your study Bibles, and your commentaries without having to leave your Bible. You now don’t even need to be in front of your computer to dig deeper into Scripture. Access it on your phone or tablet with a tap.

Plus, on desktop, when opening commentaries and study Bibles from the Insights sidebar, they’ll now be automatically linked to your Bible so they scroll together.

3. Factbook enhanced with your commentaries

Easily find the commentary you’re looking for—even on your phone. You’ve been able to quickly and easily find commentaries in your library with the Passage Guide’s commentary section (one of Logos’s most-loved features).

Now, for the first time, you can do the same across all devices when studying a passage with Factbook. Drill down by author, commentary type, series, denomination, or era—whether you’re on the desktop app, web app, or mobile app.
