Bible College Scholarship upgrades student’s homecoming from Israel field study

NEWS RELEASE

Logos Bible Software enriches winner’s birthday celebration with $1,000 cash, digital theological library worth $8,000 in print

BELLINGHAM, Wash., May 30, 2012 — Just back from studying abroad in Israel, Northwestern College undergrad Jacob Solmonson was greeted with the quarterly Bible College Scholarship. The St. Paul, Minnesota–based student will continue his academic work with $1,000 in cash and Logos Bible Software’s Scholar’s Library package — electronic Bible study tools and resources worth more than $8,000 in print.

“I thank Logos for this great award,” said Solmonson. “I was recently doing a field study in the middle of the Jordanian desert, living with the Bedouin. I then celebrated my birthday in Jerusalem, and after arriving back in the United States, I discovered that I won this scholarship and the Scholar’s Library — I was so happy and grateful for this scholarship. This was a great birthday present.”

The Bible College Scholarship is awarded by Logos every quarter to a prospective or current Bible college student to make for an easier and more affordable academic experience. In addition to the $1,000 to assist with tuition expenses, students receive the Scholar’s Library, which saves undergrads time by shaving hours of research with a single click. This popular package helps students master the Bible’s original languages and instantly puts hundreds of books, commentaries and resources at their fingertips.
