Sometimes the easiest tricks are the best. You know, the ones that make you wonder “Where has this been all my life?”
For example, did you know that keeping your ice cream box in a plastic bag keeps it soft and scoopable? Or that if you cut through just the skin of an orange from top to bottom and then left to right (all the way around, into quarters), it’s a cinch to peel?
Proclaim has some juicy tricks, too. Try these three during your next church presentation to save time and stomp out distractions.
1. Go live straight from Proclaim
This is available right now for Windows, and it’s coming soon for Mac. Plug in a few live stream settings, then live stream from Proclaim. No extra software, hardware, steps, or subscription costs required.
(We could all use one less thing to think about, right?)
2. Draw on your screens
Clean design and complementary colors help your slides grab eyeballs. But drawing on your slides—live—adds a new level.
All you need is the Proclaim Remote app, and you’re set! Choose On-screen Annotation and go from there.
3. Customize your confidence monitors for each member of your team
A confidence monitor is meant to boost confidence . . . but that doesn’t work well if the person on stage has a hard time reading it (or it doesn’t show what they need).
Let’s say your pastor needs dark text on a light background, and your worship leader needs the reverse. No problem. Create custom confidence monitor templates, and never have to think about it again.
There’s something else you can do, too: configure the confidence monitor to show chords for your worship team.
Plus, you can send any message you want to the corner of the screen, like “Turn mic on.”
