I received this question from a Logos user:
I recently came across the book All the Questions in the Bible, which lists all questions in each book of the Bible. This got me to thinking: Is there a feature in the software which allows me to find the questions Jesus asked?
I really like this question because it’s a great excuse for me to once again showcase an incredibly powerful, yet underused Logos tool: the Bible Browser.
See for yourself how easy it is to locate Jesus’ questions:
- Open the Bible Browser from the Tools menu (A)
- Select Gospels from the Bible Books | Common Divisions section (B)
- Select Interrogative Sentence from the Sentence Types section (C)
- Select Jesus from the Reported Speech | Speakers section (D)
- Select Verse from the drop-down list in the upper right of the panel (E)
- Notice all the verses in the Gospels containing a question Jesus asked! (F)
If you have yet to discover the power, yet ease of use of the Bible Browser, please take a few minutes right now to survey this tool. You’ll thank me later :-)
