Thanks to all of our Facebook fans, yesterday we passed the 40,000 fan mark! It’s quite a milestone, and it’s exciting that you’re staying connected and socializing with each other and us.
Just for perspective, 40,000 is also the number of:
- about half the population of Bellingham, WA, where our headquarters is located.
- about twice the number of resources on Logos.com and Vyrso.com combined.
- the number of days in almost 110 years—Logos’ headquarters, the Bellingham Flatiron building, is 105 years old.
- is only half as many cups of coffee Logos employees consume annually. ;)
So with it being a new year and a new milestone reached within the Logos Facebook community, this is a good time to ask, “What kind of social media experience do you want from our Facebook page?”
Do you enjoy the daily Scripture verses in the morning? Is the advanced notice on giveaways such as The Works of John Owens why you stay connected? Maybe you’ve enjoyed some of our discussions such as, “Teaching the Bible to children can be challenging, sometimes exhausting! What’s the toughest question a child has ever thrown your way?” or “What is your first response to this question ‘How do you know the Bible is God’s word?’.”
Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Again, thanks for being fans and contributing to the community experience on the Logos Facebook page.
One last thing: do you remember the “Like-a-thon” that we did last year to mark 25,000 fans? What kind of celebration would you like to see to mark 50,000 Facebook fans?
