DALLAS, August 9, 2012 — September 6–8 in Dallas, Logos Bible Software and Compassion International will host the 2012 Faithlife Women Conference, inviting women to attend the inaugural event for free and learn to apply the Bible to life’s joys and challenges. Prominent Christian women, including New York Times bestselling author Angela Thomas, celebrated writer and counselor Elyse Fitzpatrick, National Religious Broadcasters board member Dr. Lois Evans and other leaders, will discuss how women can introduce God’s Word to every corner of their lives, including their everyday struggles.
“It will be wonderful to be with sisters who love the Word of God and want to learn how the truth of it applies to everyday life,” said Fitzpatrick. “I’m so excited to be a part of this wonderful conference! . . . I get to be with women who love the Word enough to want to learn more about it. What a privilege!”
The Faithlife Women Conference will examine how women can tie their faith into the real world. Thirteen recognized Christian women leaders will analyze the difficult topics of love, marriage, friendship, communication, motherhood and wellness — all according to the Bible and its direction for women to live out their faith. Friday night, Sept. 7, the Robbie Seay Band will perform a free concert, sharing God’s glory in song.
