Joyce Salisbury, professor emerita from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, has a PhD in medieval history. She is an author of more than ten books on history and religion. Recently, Salisbury has been recording courses for Great Courses that are available in streaming and book formats. One of these courses, “The Middle Ages Around the World,” has won a Gold Telly Award for excellence in nonfiction. Salisbury has also appeared on PBS and the History Channel.
