Jill Firth is Lecturer in Hebrew and Old Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. Her PhD was in Old Testament and she also holds a BA, MDiv and MA. She has published various chapters and articles and has edited two books of essays, Grounded in the Body, in Time and Place, in Scripture: Papers by Australian Women Scholars in the Evangelical Tradition (2021), and a Festschrift honoring Lindsay Wilson, Honoring the Wise (2022). Jill is writing a book on the lament psalms at the end of the Psalter and a commentary for The Bible in God's World on Jeremiah.
