Gregg Allison (PhD, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is professor of Christian theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He serves as secretary of the Evangelical Theological Society and as senior fellow for marriage and sexuality with the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is the author of numerous books including Historical Theology: An Introduction to Christian Doctrine (Zondervan Academic, 2011); Sojourners and Strangers: The Doctrine of the Church (Crossway, 2012); Complementarity: Dignity, Difference, and Interdependence (B&H Academic, 2025); The Holy Spirit (B&H Academic, 2020), co-authored with Andreas J.
