Dr. Vern S. Poythress is distinguished professor of New Testament, biblical interpretation, and systematic theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, where he has taught for more than forty-five years. He has taught on Paul's letters, the Gospels, the book of Revelation, topics of systematic theology, and hermeneutics (principles for interpreting the Bible).
