Everyone faces the challenge of difficult relationships—in the family, community, church, and workplace. June continues to be the go-to counselor for hurting people throughout the world. With her sensitive heart and sound biblical foundation, she helps those mired in difficulty identify problems and work systematically toward biblical solutions. Whatever your situation, June will help you with your struggle . . . and equip you to help others.
—Dorothy Patterson, professor of theology in women’s studies, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
June reveals God’s heart for our relationships and then gives us a practical scriptural roadmap to show us how to handle difficult relationships . . . and how to heal from the damage they cause. Every pastor and Christian counselor should get two copies of this . . . one for their own reference, and another to lend to someone who needs it.
—Leslie Vernick, licensed counselor, coach, speaker, and author
June Hunt is a dynamic Christian leader whose life work has yielded landmark contributions in the field of Christian counseling. An author, singer, and speaker, she founded Hope For The Heart in 1986. Throughout the two decades since then, the organization has offered hope and help through biblically-based counsel and encouragement to people in 26 countries.
After years of teaching and research, she developed Counseling Through The Bible, a scripturally-based counseling course addressing approximately 100 topics, such as marriage and parenting, depression and anger, and stress and suicide. Inspired by this course, June authored and published the Biblical Counseling Keys, an in-depth, topical counseling library designed to “move people from wrong thinking to right thinking . . . and from wrong living to right living.”
June is a popular guest professor at colleges and seminaries and a sought-after conference speaker. She teaches and speaks nationally and internationally on topics such as crisis counseling, child abuse, wife abuse, homosexuality, forgiveness, singleness, and self-worth. She is also a popular speaker at religious and broadcasting events. She has written numerous books, including Seeing Yourself through God’s Eyes, Healing the Hurting Heart, Bonding with Your Teen through Boundaries, Caring for a Loved One with Cancer, How to Forgive . . . When You Don’t Feel Like It, and many others.
