Top Highlights

“ ‘at all times’ we ‘ought to pray and not to lose heart’ (Luke 18:1).” (Page 3)

“When it comes to touching God’s heart, other than for a few essential truths, unity of desperation is more crucial than unity of doctrine.” (Page 5)

“He is asking us individually, ‘Will I find faith in you?’” (Page 3)

“The key to successful deliverance is to discern if an individual is ready and willing to be released before we minister deliverance. Is he repentant? Has he put away his idols? Is his heart truly turning toward God?” (Pages 17–18)

“We do not understand the responsibility and privilege God places upon a person who continues in faithful prayer. What sustained these champions of prayer? They loved God and loved the people of God.” (Page 12)

Francis Frangipane was born in 1946 and grew up in Lodi, New Jersey. He and his wife, Denise, received ministerial training at Grace Chapel in Southern California. Francis is the founder of River of Life Ministries in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and traveled throughout the world ministering to thousands of pastors and intercessors from many backgrounds. He has written fourteen books, including Holiness, Truth and the Presence of God, a compilation of his essays and sermons; The Three Battlegrounds, on the topic of spiritual warfare; and In Christ's Image training manuals, which were developed for his online school. His heartfelt prayer is to see established in every city, Christ-like pastors and intercessors, united before God, revealing the love of Christ to their communities. Over the past decades, Francis served on a number of ministry boards. In June 2009, he has retired from his position as senior pastor of River of Life Ministries and has been devoting himself to prayer and the ministry of God's Word.
