Top Highlights

“Proverbs 27:6 says it so well, that ‘wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.’” (source)

“One of those would be that being a peacekeeper is a priority, rather than what should be the priority of peacemaking. A lot of people think that God honors peacekeepers, but He honors peacemakers.” (source)

“Proverbs 10:10 says, ‘People who wink at wrong cause trouble, but a bold reproof promotes peace.’” (source)

“And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.’” (source)

“If you’re willing to do whatever it takes to fix a marriage, marriage has got great hope. But if you’re stuck in so many other different areas, and you’re not willing or your willingness is limited, then the outcome is going to be limited also.” (source)

In segment seven Arterburn warns us of the most dangerous place a spouse can find themselves. Which he names as "justifiable resentment". Any student of marriage or family studies, must understand this concept to be effective. Very well done! I want to offer one more praise. The simplicity of the segments is a plus for those who lack the patience for deeper study. Arterburn also provides suggested reading for those who have the willingness to go deeper. Again, very well done!
