Overview

Led by John Huss, the movement that eventually became known as the Moravian Church began in the late fourteenth century. After Huss was declared a heretic and burned at the stake in 1415, his followers began a rebellion against the Catholic Church that lasted nearly 15 years and claimed the lives of many.
