Martha Sears R. N., mother of eight children, is co-author of many of the Sears’ books, a former childbirth educator, currently a lactation and parenting consultant and a frequent speaker on parenting issues.

Dr. William Sears M. D., one of America’s most renowned pediatricians, trained at Harvard Medical School’s Children’s Hospital and the University of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, the largest children’s hospital in the world, where he was Associate Professor of Pediatrics. A pediatrician for twenty-five years, he currently practices pediatrics in San Clemente, California.
