The very fact that the living God is not mentioned once in Esther might seem strange, but it is no accident. Blackham explains that even as believers go through their daily lives they do not always see the hand of the Father, the glorious rule of Jesus or the comforting, or the strengthening care of the Holy Spirit. The book of Esther teaches that the living God is hard at work in all the complexities of life even though he rules from the throne-room in the invisible creation.
