Top Highlights

“We are to redeem our life out of the marketplace of vanity and purposelessness through which we walk in this world.” (Page 32)

“Passion is that burning drive deep in the heart of a Christian that compels us to do the work of God with all we have and all we are.” (Page 12)

“the secret of passion is that we do everything as if we were doing it for the Lord himself rather than for man.” (Page 13)

“We all have about as much of God as we really want. We can complain about the state of our spiritual lives; but if God promises blessedness (success, fulfillment, contentment) and we don’t have it, it must be because we have not become parched enough to hunger and thirst for it.” (Page 90)

“The word ‘enthusiasm’ actually comes from two Greek words—en (in) and theos (God). Literally, enthusiasm means ‘God in you.’” (Page 14)
