Olaf Alfred Toffteen was educated at the University of Uppsala, Johns Hopkins University, and Chicago University and was professor of Semitic languages and Old Testament literature at Western Theological Seminary. He is the author of numerous books, including Myths and the Bible, Ancient Chronology, and Researches in Assyrian and Babylonian Geography.
