Overview

On the surface, the book may appear to be ‘too deep’ to comprehend. But the true beauty of Leviticus isn’t on the surface. Leviticus 101 was written in study form with the purpose of revealing hidden gems. You have to be willing to look beyond what appears to be trite and search for the deeper meaning contained within. It is the author’s hope in writing this book that you will gain a better understanding of God and his unconditional love for man.

In the Logos edition, all Scripture passages in Leviticus 101 are tagged and appear on mouse-over, and all Scripture passages link to your favorite Bible translation in your library. With Logos’ advanced features, you can perform powerful searches by topic or Scripture reference—finding, for example, every mention of “offering” or “ritual.”

I think Lunsford does too much "Jesus hunting" throughout his book - trying to relate every detail of every piece of the sacrificial system to Jesus' work on Calvary. His thoughts, I think, are oriented incorrectly where instead of understanding Jesus better through the OT law he reads the work of Jesus back into the law too far. I couldn't recommend this book to anyone interested in serious OT study, instead look for someone with experience in Jewish ritual or find a Semitics guy who can explain more the original language rather than relying on English translations for exposition.
