About John G. Butler

John G. Butler was born and raised in rural Iowa. After first attending Tennessee Temple University, he graduated from Cedarville University, with a background in conservative doctrine and practice. He is the author of the Bible Biography Series (27 vols.), Studies of the Savior (10 vols.), and Daily Bible Reading (4 vols.). Butler has been married to his college sweetheart for over 50 years; they have three children and five grandchildren.

John Butler was Baptist ministry for over fifty years. He attended both Tennessee Temple University and Cedarville University. Originally from Iowa, Butler served as a pastor for over 35 years with congregations in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.

Butler authored several series including the Bible Biography Series, the Study of the Savior series, Butler’s Daily Bible Reading set, and the Analytical Bible Expositor series.
