The "For Everyone" series by Goldingay is a series that will benefit anyone from just starting out reading the Bible all the way to full time minister, Bible class teacher, long time Christian Bible student. The illustrations are so helpful in setting up the Bible stories. The insights are rich and accessible to all skill levels. I haven't used every single one of these but I have used them enough to know to keep going back to them time and time again. I have found it useful to go to these first to get the gist and then go to more in depth commentaries afterward. Hope you will consider picking up the set! Also, make sure to check some of the bundles that these come in, you might find a good discount.
