From the Introduction: "Here the writer of the Hebrews letter is saying that even the law, the ceremonies, the sacrifices, and all the rituals of the Old Testament were but a shadow or a type of the things which were to come. Then he goes on to say that they were not perfect types, that is, they were not the very image of the things which were to come."
