Top Highlights

“The secret is, how to be in Christ, what we are in Christ.” (Page 179)

“ self is the greatest problem for the Child of God. It’s the struggle between our will and God’s Will.” (Page 179)

“So, the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, as a Man, even as the first Adam, would have to regain the dominion lost by the first one, which He would do by keeping the Law of God in every respect, and overcoming every temptation posed to Him by Satan (Mat. Chpt. 4), which He did! Even though never ceasing to be God, still, as a Man, He did all of these things, and did them perfectly.” (Page 184)

“If one is to recall, Paul has addressed this subject in various ways already in this Epistle by referring to Christ as ‘the Firstborn of every creature,’ meaning that He is the Creator of all things (Col. 1:15). He also referred to Him as ‘the Firstborn from the dead,’ meaning that He is the Firstfruits of the Resurrection, which guarantees the Resurrection of all Saints (Col. 1:18). This, as well, makes Him ‘the Head of the Body, the Church,’ which again places Him as the origin of the Church.” (Pages 258–259)

“with the Holy Spirit now having to re-create so to speak, the image and likeness once again.” (Page 297)
